May 15 was the 15th National Iodine Deficiency Prevention Day and the theme of this propaganda was "Insist on Eating Iodized Salt to Enjoy Healthy Life".

In order to hold the propaganda well, our center had made an announcement about the propaganda on the websites ahead of time and uploaded many data and materials about iodine deficiency. At May 15, our center set up posters, received consluting in the spot and identified the iodized salt for free at Changning public health center.

Meanwhile, our center also organized 8 community health service centers in the district to hold various propagandas.

The propaganda was closed to daily life of citizens and they have got the knowledge about preventing iodine deficiency. Especially the in-the -spot free identification of the iodized salt let citizens have a clear knowledge about whether the salt they ate everyday was qualified iodized salt or not and promoted their awareness to eat qualified iodized salt, which got a warm welcome from the citizens.
