At 9:00 am, May 12, Vice Chief of the District Zou Longfei held the hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and control work in Changning at 312 meeting room of government building. At the meeting, he analyzed the hand-foot-mouth disease prevention in recent days, discussed about the prevention situations of the district and arranged the emphasis of the next period of prevention. Chief of Health Bureau of the district Zhang Ping, Vice Chief Chi Jie and Ge Min, charges of relevant sections and offices of Health Bureau and Vice Chief of Education Bureau of the district Wu Yulei were present in the meeting.

At 10:30 am, Chief Zou held work meeting of "hand-foot-mouth disease" in Xinjing Town at the meeting room of Xinjing community health service center. At the meeting, firstly, Chief of Health Bureau of the district Zhang Ping introduced the current national epidemic situation and the prevention work in our district. Then, officials from Education Bureau of the district, government of Xinjing Town, NPHCC office of the district, CDC of the district and health service center of Xinjing community seperately introduced their own work of preventing hand-foot-mouth disease. In the end, Vice Chief of the district Zou Longfei conveyed Chief Bian Baiping's requests about preventing work and also requested: firstly, as a profesional department, Health Bureau should strengthen leadership to command unitedly, take effective measures, assemble forces, propagate widely and consolidate the materials storage; secondly, NPHCC office should carry out large scale of reshaping work of environment and strengthen check and monitoring of important areas and places; thirdly, Education Bureau should strengthen monitoring of schools and baby-cared centers, propagating education of teachers and students and tracking of absent children; fourthly, the government of Xinjing Town should carry out overall examination with health departments, take three villages and three house sites as important spots, make use of functions of social insurance members into citizens and promote awareness of officials of villages and neighborhood committees to preventing work to find problems and situations in time. Each deparment should carry out their work in lines and make a schedule to form work systerm in oder to maintain the good situation together since the reform and opening to the world.
