Taken by our center, the research item of Research about Control Index of Falling and Intervening of Old Man in Changning District of Shanghai City of Health Department has been carried out in order and got some achievements since it had been approved. Officials of WHO had came to inspect it. From May 13 to May 15 the mid-term assessment meeting was held in Luoyang of Henan, and Xia Qinghua, the charge of the the item from our center attended the meeting. Officials like Chief of Disease Prevention and Control Bureau of Health Department Yan Jun, Vice Director of China CDC Yang Gonghuan and Zhu Xu from UNICEF also presented the meeting and 11 items had been reported separately which were got comments from experts. In the end, Director of Harm Control Section of China CDC Duan Leilei summarized it. The item taken by our center passed the assessment and the center was praised of investingating and design of baseline, carrying out of intervening and making of intervening products and also was hoped to implement it according to planning progress and carry out relevant index system of preventing falling in the item.
