On the afternoon of May 25, an on-the-spot consulting propaganda about "Preventing Infectious Diseases in Summer of 2008" was held at Xijiao Bailian Shopping Center Square. 25 members from Disease Prevention and Cotrol Center of the city, Health Bureau of the district and Disease Prevention and Control Center of the district attended it. Officials like Vice Chief of Health Bureau of the district Ge Min and Chief of Disease Pevention and Control Section Jiang Ping came to the spot for guide. At that day, doctor Gu Baoke, experts in disease preventing from CDC of the city, Lin Yaping and Jin Huiming who are responsible for infectious diseases of intestinal tacts also went to the spot for directions about the propaganda and the preventing work of infectious diseases in summer in our district. They approved the achievement we have got during preventions and had high opinions of the propaganda posters of this activity, the featured way of propaganda of Changning as sending short reminding messages to citizens by digital platforms and our quick responses and actions and effective measures during the preventing work.
More than 200 pieces of propaganda materials about hand-foot-mouth prevention provided by Disease Prevention and Control Center and other 200 made by our center were given to citizens during the activity. And 10 kinds of posters made by Disease Prevention and Control Center of the city about preventing diarrhea, typhia, infectious diarrhea, Norovirus infectious diseases of intestinal tracts and posters made by Disease Prevention and Control Center of the district about preventing hand-foot-mouth disease. There were also 10 propaganda posters about hand-foot-mouth disease and malaria prevention. They also gave qustionairs of Knowledge about Common Infectious Diseases in Summers and Autumns and got 200 pieces finished in order to provice referrences for more effective prevention propaganda.
