June 1 was the 29th propaganda day of oral hygiene and its theme was ¡°Love My Teeth to Live a Happy Life¡±. Disease Prevention & Control Center and Women and Children Bureau of the district held two training letures of special theme together.
On the afternoon of May 26, Eyes Prevention Section and Teeth Prevention Section of our center held a training about teaching plans of oral hygiene for teachers of baby-cared centers in the district. The goal of education of pre-school children was to make them taught in happiness. The education was about popularizing oral hegiene among pre-school children. During courses of oral hygiene in bay-cared centers, teachers led children to take part in it to learn to protect their teeth when they were young bu breaking the traditional form of education. On the afternoon of June 22, a themed lecture of ¡°Oral Hygiene Care of the Pregnant¡± was held in the school of the pregnant in the center hospital. Playing multi-media cartoons, the lecture was aout common teeth diseases and prevention, oral hygiene care of the pregnant, growth of jaws and oral hygiene of foetuses and oral hygiene care of babies and children. They also held on-the-spot consulting and gave propaganda materials, toothbrush for the pregnant and finger toothbrush for babies. The mother-to-be gave a warm welcome to such a lecture and they wished to hear it often to enhance their awareness to protect oral hygiene.
