    Human rabies mainly caused by the infection of the animals that carry the rabies virus bites (scratch). The Tncubation period could as short as 10 days, and as long as two years or longer, generally 31-60 days, and 15% occurred after three months, depends on the distance from the bitten site to the central nervous system and the extent of bites (the dose of infectious virus).

 

    Rabies is the infectious disease killing the central nervous system, and often has a short precursor period of about 1-4 days, showed moderate fever, discomfort, appetite loss, headache, nausea, etc.; then comes the symptom period with the entering of the nervous system, about 2 -20 days, stress increased, chest pressure, chest pain, airflow phobia (there would be facial muscle spasm of the throat with the wind blows), which are the typical symptoms, help diagnosis. Pain or wound sites have various strange feeling, for some patients, the stress increase with the stimulation of the light, noise and sensory stimulation, usually show as muscle tone increased and facial muscles crop up. After the lesions of the sympathetic nervous system, there would be hyperhidrosis, drooling,  irritation, irranxiety, spastic pain and muscle contraction, the throat spastic when swallowing, and other parts of muscle cramps caused fear of water, thus it is also known as hydrophobia. The paralysis symptoms (up palsy) could appeared in different periods of the disease, particularly the rabies infected by the bat-borne; 0-14 days after the symptoms, patients often show secondary respiratory and heart failure after the spasm, then coma and dead.
